Here’s a little bit of information on why it is necessary to replace all 3 components during your Mercedes Benz brake service:
- Run your fingernail over the rotor, if it catches, that rotor is too rough
- If a rotor is too thin, the rotor will warp
- No rotor should be re-used unless its measured thickness is over the manufacture minimum thickness.
- Brake sensors are a one-time use item, as well, and need to be replaced with the other parts of the Mercedes Benz braking system.
