Freon Charging Services
Sometimes after years of use, the level of refrigerant can lower in your vehicle’s air conditioning system, thus lowering the pressure in the compressor and reducing the effectiveness of the system as a whole. A simple way to combat this is with a recharge of your refrigerant, or Freon. Using compressed Freon, Lucas Auto Care first checks the pressure of the refrigerant already in your system to confirm that a recharge is needed. If it is, a hose is connected to the low-pressure port in your air conditioning system and Freon is slowly pumped in until your system reaches the optimal pressure for its refrigerant, around 30-50 psi. This should effectively recharge your system and have you’re a/c running ice cold once again.
